Custom Weed Spraying

Cardston County's weed spraying program is an effective way to control the growth and spread of weeds in our region. Weeds pose a serious threat to our environment and economy, as they reduce the productivity of our agricultural land and destroy our grazing land. To ensure the success of our program, we have a team of experienced agricultural staff who will conduct a site inspection to determine the priority of the area and provide an estimated cost for weed spraying.

Our weed spraying program operates on a cost-recovery basis, meaning you will be responsible for the costs of herbicide and employee travel and time. However, our staff will work with you to find the most cost-effective solution for your site. Depending on the condition of the site and the estimated cost, our agricultural staff will use the most appropriate delivery method to ensure maximum coverage and effectiveness of the herbicide. Rest assured, we strictly adhere to safety guidelines during the spraying process to protect the health and safety of all involved.

We understand that each site is unique, and therefore, we tailor our approach to meet your specific needs. Our agricultural staff will also provide you with the required information on how to prepare the site for weed spraying, as well as any additional safety precautions that need to be taken.

A priority system will be in place to prioritize prohibited noxious weeds over less invasive weeds.

  1. Scentless Chamomile
  2. Spotted Knapweed
  3. Blueweed
  4. Leafy Spurge
  5. Hounds Tongue
  6. Toadflax
  7. Etc.

The program runs on a "First come, first served" basis. In some cases, the Agricultural Fieldman may have the authority to supersede the priority list as needed.
