Natural Gas and Electricity

Natural gas and electricity are deregulated in Alberta.  That means that consumers can choose the appropriate provider for their residences or businesses.

The Office of the Utilities Consumer Advocate of the Government of Alberta has been put in place to ensure that Alberta consumers have the information, representation and protection they need in Alberta's restructured electricity and natural gas markets.
